It was not easy for Jane and Peter to take time out for the pre-wedding shoot with their baby being just a weeks old. We decided to choose a location very close to their home in Didcot, Oxfordshire for their convenience. It was one of those perfect early spring days with just the right amount of sun and when we met at the location for the shoot they were glad to have made it. It was a relaxed session with Peter cracking some jokes to make his bride laugh. I was able to capture some great moments which I'm sure they will cherish forever.
Fallowfields country house hotel is a spectacular place set in a picturesque location in the village of Southmoor in the outskirts of Abingdon, Oxfordshire. I’m not the one who would usually choose a fine dining restaurant to lunch during weekends, I’m more of the guy who loves a hearty meal at the pub down the road. After my first visit to Fallowfields restaurant I stand corrected. It was the perfect combination of great food and lovely people and a place I would love to go again and again. Anthony, the owner and Matt, the chef both share the same passion for food and are committed to bring the freshest and finest to the table. For me the experience was a revelation of sorts, it was a treat for both eyes and stomach. I couldn’t photograph the dishes as I wasn’t carrying all my gear and a badly taken picture wouldn’t do justice to the beautifully presented food. And I’m sure I’ll be making more trips to the restaurant and on one such occasion I hope I would be able to click some pictures for my readers.

A sunny day has become a rarity in England in the last few years I have lived here. But when we have one we are out to make the most of it. The photograph above is from one such afternoon in one of beautiful roads in Abingdon where the giant trees lean on to create natural canopy for the cyclists and the enthusiastic pedestrians like me.There is some thing so surreal about this picture that every time I look at it I feel at peace.
As a creative person I draw a lot of inspiration from history and the varied hues and colours of the past. A vintage style shoot I did recently at a stately home in the outskirts of Abingdon was inspired by the timeless elegance of some beautiful georgian dresses that I spotted. I didn't have the luxury of time to do any research about the dresses and styling of that era and wouldn't be right to collect this a georgian shoot.Yet, the elaborate dresses , the styling of models and the grandeur of the location has brought about an old classy feel to the pictures. Thanks for the team to make it happen.
